Anna joined Francis Mehr LLP in 2019, after completing her law degree at the University of Ottawa. In law school, Anna devoted her free time to mooting, traveling to New York City, Hamburg, Vienna, and Stockholm to represent the Ottawa team in the Foreign Direct Investment and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration competitions. Before law school, Anna was a realtor, which now gives her an edge in real estate litigation and arbitration.

Anna’s experience is in arbitration, construction, franchising, domestic and international sales law, commercial landlord and tenant matters, as well as defamation matters under the Libel and Slander Act. Anna has experience before the Small Claims Court, the Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and the Supreme Court of Canada in Wellman v TELUS and Uber v Heller.

In addition to representing parties before courts and tribunals, Anna acts as counsel to arbitral tribunals in private disputes.

Anna practices out of Toronto and Ottawa and can assist clients in English or in Russian.
